1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the Voxelmoose website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. These terms apply to all visitors, students, and users of our services.
2. Description of Services
Voxelmoose provides professional 3D modeling and animation education through:
- In-person and online courses in Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, and other 3D software
- Workshop sessions and specialized training programs
- Educational resources, tutorials, and blog content
- Career guidance and portfolio development services
- Community forums and networking opportunities
3. Enrollment and Registration
3.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to enroll in our courses. Students under 18 require parental or guardian consent and signature on enrollment documents.
3.2 Registration Process
Course registration requires:
- Completion of enrollment form with accurate information
- Payment of course fees according to our payment schedule
- Acceptance of these Terms of Service
- Meeting any prerequisite requirements for advanced courses
3.3 Class Capacity
Course enrollment is limited to maintain quality instruction. Registration is processed on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of complete enrollment materials and payment.
4. Payment Terms and Pricing
4.1 Course Fees
All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes. Course fees must be paid according to the payment schedule provided at enrollment.
4.2 Payment Methods
We accept major credit cards, debit cards, bank transfers, and approved payment plans. Payment processing fees may apply for certain payment methods.
4.3 Late Payment
Late payment fees of $50 CAD may be charged for payments received more than 7 days after the due date. Continued non-payment may result in course suspension or termination.
5. Refund and Cancellation Policy
5.1 Student-Initiated Cancellations
- Before Course Start: Full refund minus $100 CAD administrative fee
- Within First Week: 100% refund of remaining course fees
- Within Second Week: 75% refund of remaining course fees
- After Second Week: No refund available
5.2 Voxelmoose-Initiated Cancellations
If we cancel a course due to insufficient enrollment or other circumstances, you will receive a full refund or credit toward another course of equal value.
5.3 Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days to the original payment method.
6. Student Responsibilities and Conduct
6.1 Attendance and Participation
- Regular attendance is expected for successful course completion
- Students missing more than 25% of classes may not receive certification
- Active participation in class discussions and assignments is required
6.2 Code of Conduct
Students must maintain professional and respectful behavior. Prohibited conduct includes:
- Disrupting classes or creating hostile learning environments
- Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior toward others
- Unauthorized recording or distribution of course materials
- Cheating, plagiarism, or academic dishonesty
- Violation of software licensing agreements
6.3 Technology Requirements
Students are responsible for maintaining compatible hardware and software for their chosen courses. Technical requirements are provided upon enrollment.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
7.1 Course Materials
All course materials, including but not limited to lectures, presentations, videos, assignments, and documentation, are proprietary to Voxelmoose and protected by copyright law.
7.2 Student Work
Students retain ownership of original creative work produced during courses, while granting Voxelmoose a non-exclusive license to use such work for educational and promotional purposes.
7.3 Portfolio Rights
Students may use completed course projects in their professional portfolios with proper attribution to Voxelmoose for educational context.
8. Limitation of Liability
Voxelmoose's liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific course or service. We are not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
- Technical failures or interruptions beyond our control
- Student's failure to complete course requirements
- Employment outcomes or career advancement
9. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
10. Course Modifications
We reserve the right to modify course content, schedules, instructors, or delivery methods as necessary. Significant changes will be communicated to enrolled students with reasonable notice.
11. Certification and Credentials
11.1 Certificate Requirements
To receive a course completion certificate, students must:
- Attend at least 75% of scheduled classes
- Complete all required assignments and projects
- Meet minimum performance standards as determined by instructors
- Fulfill all payment obligations
11.2 Certificate Value
Our certificates represent completion of specific training programs and are not accredited academic degrees. Employment outcomes depend on individual skills, market conditions, and other factors beyond our control.
12. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved through:
- Direct Communication: Initial attempt to resolve through discussion
- Mediation: Binding mediation if direct resolution fails
- Governing Law: Ontario law governs these terms
- Jurisdiction: Courts in Toronto, Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction
13. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service periodically. Changes will be posted on our website with the effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
